Trisha has been working as a crisis counselor, case manager and therapist for the last 18 years. She has worked closely with the homeless and runaway youth population, pregnant and parenting teens, youth experiencing difficulties due to trauma and/or abuse and issues relating to life transitions. She has also counseled adults through an Employee Assistance Program for several years. Issues ranged from anxiety, depression, severe mental illness, marital and familial issues, addiction and suicide. Outside of Trisha’s professional experience, she has volunteered for many years as a youth ministry leader within a Catholic Filipino lay community, devoted to bringing people back to God.
As a devout Catholic, wife and mother, Trisha is committed to providing a safe, authentic and caring therapeutic environment for her clients with the help of Our Lord and His Holy Spirit. She is willing to utilize Catholic teachings and prayers approved by the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic church within therapy session.
I pray that as you open your hearts to the prospect of participating in counseling, you in turn open your hearts to God's Love and infinite Divine Mercy. May He continue to guide you on your healing journey toward peace.
All this to say, we acknowledge that the process of therapy can be very intimidating. It is a challenge to open ourselves up to feel vulnerable. That is why this practice’s priority is to help you feel safe in a non-judgmental, authentic space. We welcome all those that seek healing, understanding and peace. We are in no way biased or discriminate against any race, color, national origin, sex, creed, handicap, or sexual preference.
This service is provided as mental health counseling. I integrate the Catholic faith from a lay perspective, and will only integrate the faith if the client feels comfortable. I will always recommend clients to seek out true spiritual direction from Catholic Priests, Deacons, Spiritual Directors and other Religious in combination with counseling when necessary and apparent.
Trisha accepts adult clients for individual, couples and spiritual healing. Trisha sees clients in-person in Texas and tele-health for individuals and couples residing in the state of Texas or Illinois. Click below to learn more about Trisha’s areas of service.
